2nd Transnational meeting - Dubrovnik, Croatia

We had the honor to  be hosts in the final Transnational meeting of our project - Magic Values.
From April 18 to April 22 we welcomed our partners and friends in our school, Osnovna škola Lapad, Dubrovnik.

The preparations were long and a bit exhausting, but it was all worth it. We started planning in January, making notes, sending emails and making phone calls.
Now when it is all over we are happy and proud and in this short video you can see a small part of the atmosphere.

Sad because our project is coming to an end, but we believe that someday we will see each other again.
Until then we send you warm regards and hopefully nice memories from Dubrovnik!

A19 "European Day" - Croatia

United in diversity means that Europeans are united in a joint effort for peace and progress and that many different cultures, traditions and languages in Europe are a positive advantage for the continent.

The students of our school have been creative and researched in order to mark the European Day.

The first workshop was cheerful geography, and the task was to find all the states and their capitals, then paint the flags and discover the interests of each country.

The second workshop was a great challenge for our team - we created the 3D map of Europe.
We used styrofoam and cut off each state, painted it and eventually put them all together.

The atmosphere in this activity was joyful, with music, laughter, snacks and friendship.
More about it you can see on our photos.

A16 "European Manifest for Education"

What is education? We could talk about that for hours, days....
Education is a lifelong process, changing and developing all the time.

After a long thinking about the implementation of this activity we decided to create a 3D tree, which we made with the help of our art teacher.
The tree represents education that is growing, building and developing. In this spring time all the trees look lovely. We hope you like ours.

After talking to our students about what they like and do not like in education, also how they imagine education in the future, we cut the leaves, wrote  messages and made symbols of educational content.
Now the tree is decorating our main school hall.

Some of the messages are:
